one of my favorite memories of the season…
At the end of my sons’ 9U baseball season last year, I wanted to do something special to surprise the boys.
My goal was to create something more meaningful than just another end-of-year treat that would end up forgotten on the floor of our car.
So I created custom baseball cards.
The boys were ecstatic. They immediately started autographing each other’s cards, laughing, trading them, and comparing stats. Their joy melted my heart entirely and reminded me what it's really all about.
Mom to mom, these early sports years go by so darn fast—too fast. I’m already seeing it with my own kids.
Our babies are going to grow whether we give them permission to or not. Some will move on to higher levels. Some may eventually hang up their cleats and move on to other things.
But because of these cards, we’ll always have something tangible from this age, this season, and this team to look back on.
